Like a fire bird rising from the ashes, your greatest skills and efforts just erupt with this drawing.
Shelly, it is pieces like this that really make me think you would be a great hair stylist. Her hair is just so stunning as it whips the air and sways with such grace. It is as if her hair is moving!
The dark tones on her skin are really effective here by the way!
While I can see why the helmet may be a bit awkward, it in no way harms the rest of this gorgeous piece and even then the helmet looks just fine. The jet black background just adds an extra punch to the over all power this artwork displays.
This reminds me why I really love your art in the first place. You capture these characters ( Lucy especially ) like no one else in your own lovely style. You should absolutely give your self a pat on the back for this one, because this is undeniable proof that you have come so far in the last two years. At this rate you will get a daily deviation, I just know it!
